With this change in location, the school’s design had to be completely overhauled. The final result was a plan for a three-story concrete main building with 18 standard classrooms, as well as a music room, science room, craft workshop, home economics room, library, traditional Japanese-style room, nurse’s office, lunchroom, and other facilities. The total floor area of the main building was 6,200 square meters (66,736 square feet).
After the necessary development applications were filed and building permits approved and received, construction began on May 1, 1977.
