3.4. Effect of incubation temperature on phytase production by Penicillium purpurogenum GE1
The inoculated flasks were incubated at different temperatures ranged from (27–45 C). The results in Fig. 3 revealed that
maximum phytase production (58± 5.56 U/g ds) was obtained at 27 C. After that the enzyme production decreased gradually with the increase in incubation temperatures. In general, the optimum temperature for phytase production from most of the microorganisms lies in the range of 25–37 C (Vohra and Satyanarayana 2002). Our study proved that the
