Specifications
You must:
• Submit:
o at least two third party reports to provide evidence of your relationship-building and conflict management skills
o a record of the problem definition statement
o meeting minutes
o record of action plans
o record of communications issued
o record of resistance and conflicts dealt with
o records of performance management of poorly performing employee
o a short report for a management organisation which summarises your presentation
• Deliver a 15 minute presentation.
Your assessor will be looking for:
• A problem definition that describes:
o Impact/effect of the problem
o who is impacted –who is affected
o what behaviour has to change
o whose behaviour has to change.
• Correct identification of the relevant stakeholders to be consulted or communicated with for the nature of the problem:
o consultation:
accountable stakeholder with ultimate authority over the issue
responsible stakeholders involved in the issue
consulted stakeholders who are directly affected by the issue.
o communication:
stakeholders who are indirectly affected by the problem who need to be informed about changes.
• Effective consultation of relevant stakeholders in an appropriate manner to define the problem:
o culturally sensitive
o matching the organisation’s legal (government rules) requirements and social, ethical and business standards .
• Effective consultation of relevant stakeholders in an appropriate manner to identify solutions to the problem:
o culturally sensitive
o matching the organisation’s social, ethical and business standards.
• Effective and appropriate dealing with issues that arose during the project in a manner matching the organisation’s legal requirements and social, ethical and business standards including but not limited to:
o individual performance issues
o coaching (to train), counselling (help with personal or psychological matters in a professional setting) or confronting (meet or come face to face with someone)
o process issues (issues doing the task)
o conflict/clash.
