Double Barreled Questions --
Double Barreled Questions cover more than one topic. The goal should be one topic per question.
Example: When was the last time you upgraded your computer and printer?
This is a double-barreled question because it asks about two separate topics (computer and printer) at the same time. Respondents who have upgraded one without upgrading the other wouldn’t know how to answer. When you are analyzing the data, how will you know which part of the question was answered? “And” or “or” within a question usually makes it double barreled. Try eliminating the less important topic or create two questions.
