Fiorentina warn the Mohamed Salah saga “will be a long and complicated matter. We’ll be talking to Chelsea too.”
The Tuscans have threatened legal action after Salah refused to go through with an extended loan spell after they had paid the London side €1m.
“The lawyers will think about that,” patron Andrea Della Valle told reporters at an event this evening.
“There is bitterness, because he is a good lad and just received some very bad advice. I can only say so much, as the lawyers are involved.”
Roma were in talks with Chelsea today for Salah and ADV pointed out the situation is still up in the air.
“Seeing as everyone is going to London, we’ll be talking to Chelsea too. It will be a long and complicated matter.
“We will build a very competitive squad. There will be five players coming in. Don’t worry, we won’t let you down. In a week to 10 days we’ll sort out many things.”
Mario Gomez is considering a transfer to Turkey with Besiktas.
“We are talking to the lad, because he could well want a new opportunity as well.”
