Witbier or Hefeweizen
This beer also known as wheat beer is usually brewed with a high percentage of wheat. It also contains some amount of malted barley. Witbiers are normally top fermented and their flavors vary according to specific styles. They are very refreshing, pale colored, highly carbonated and sometimes unfiltered and cloudy. Fruity flavors are also common. A popular wheat beer is the In-Heat Wheat beer. Scotland is famous for the production of this beer. Even back in the years when the climate was not great for the growth of wheat, Scotland imported wheat for their brews.
