Risks of diabetes associated with rosuvastatin allo- cation did not change substantially as the number of major diabetes risk factors increased. HRs for physician- diagnosed diabetes associated with rosuvastatin were 1·2 (95% CI 0·65–2·1) for participants with one risk factor, 1·2 (0·82–1·9) for two risk factors, 1·4 (1·1–1·9)
for three risk factors, and 1·4 (1·0–2·0) for four risk factors; none of these HRs differed significantly from the HR for the study as a whole.
