Hence, the aim of this research was to develop richer
contextual descriptions of nursing leadership development
and its connections to outcomes by investigating
the leaders behaviour, the persons who are led and the
context in which leadership development took place (all
of which are required to understand the complexity of
leadership).
More specifically, we explored how professionals
involved in the CLP project experience clinical leadership
development on the unit and its impact on the
nursing leader, the team and the care-giving process.
