To secure a perfect engine cooling, it is necessary to keep the cooling ribs of cylinders, cylinder heads, cooling fan and especially oil cooler and intake air coolers perfectly clean in all modes of operation.
Remove the upper cover sheet from engine and, if heavily polluted, dismount also the spring-mounted outlet metal sheets among the cylinders.
Use a degreasing solvent to clean polluted places and rinse them with a stream of warm water.
After cleaning the engine, remount all parts.
While cleaning the engine, prevent water and impurities from getting into the alternator.
