We know that being rich is hard to find a moment to enjoy life among having to tell your employees what to do, your household help what to do, and your broker how to invest your money.
It’s true we spend several hours each day exercising, listening to audio books, reading nonfiction, making happy birthday calls, networking, and going out to lunch with other rich colleagues but what poor people can’t understand is that isn’t all that what we truly consider recreation.
We perform all these activities to improve ourselves, they are investments.
Some of the people I network with can be the most absolute bores but they are rich, powerful and classy as me so that’s why I keep related to them. They make us richer every day and that’s what count.
On the other side, poor people do not listen to audio books; they don’t talk business at lunch and don’t share investment advices with friends and even if that’s useless from a financial standpoint their activities are way funniest and careless.
