Conclusion
According to the results obtained in this study, berry fruit teas are valuable source of flavonoids and anthocyanins compared to the most of commonly consumed herbal teas, commercial fruit teabags, as well
as berry juices.Even though chokeberry, bilberry and black currant decoctions were more abundant in flavonoids, infusion could be recommended as more a suitable way of berry tea preparation as these fruits
are considered as a rich source of anthocyanins which are found in greater amounts in this type of tea.Based on the average intake of berries and related products, both types of extracts (decoction and infusion)could contribute significantly to daily intake of these compounds Additionally, berry teas showed promising cytotoxic activity As the consumption of fresh berries, commercially available berry products or those freshly prepared in the household conditions is becoming a part of a healthy lifestyle, the obtained results could be valuable
as guidelines for further use of berry fruit teas as a part of conventional diet
