material and doing a 100% binary data verification of the written data.
 Detailed SD card manufacture specification and qualification reports
are available upon request.
 Detailed SD cards association specifications (e.g. mechanical
addendum and others) can only be download by members of the SD
association at their web page. Any distribution of those documents
between members or to none member is not allowed.
Limitation
 The specified temperature range for SD cards is from -40 °C to + 85
°C during operation
 Storage: -55 °C (1008 h) / 85 °C (1008 h)
Miscellaneous regulations
 Bosch’s supplier for pre-flashed SD cards is certified acc. to ISO 9001
only.
 The ppm values of the SD card are not considered in the device error
statistic; they are treated separately instead. A value of 100 ppm has
been confirmed for the SD cards product group.
 There is no guaranteed availability for current used SD cards
technologies.
 Component qualification and reliability validation results available from
SD card manufacturer, PPAP process is in place.
 Card is not according AEC-Q100 qualified.
 Traceability to SD card lot is possible.
 The standard automotive change management process is available for
the main supplier, though not for its sub-contractors.
 The 8D procedure is applied for the work with the supplier (SD card
manufacturer and Flash service supplier), it can be implemented for
the SD card’s controller. But it cannot be implemented for any flash
components.
 IMDS data are available to a limited extent only.
Warranty
Bosch assumes a 24-month warranty for material defects. If an SD card
proves to be defective, Bosch’s warranty is limited to the free-of-charge
delivery of a replacement SD card including the SW version contained on the
original card.
