After incubation, a loopful (10 μl) was streaked onto violet red bile dextrose (VRBD) agar (Scharlau) supplemented with 4-methil-umbeliferil-β-Dglucuronide (MUG), (Scharlau) and incubated at 35 °C for 24 h.
