Hello again! Sakimichan, first of all my warmest thanks to you for your comments and for encouraging me to not drop my old style. I can do both, old and new. ^_^ Last month I had painted a study of Jon Snow, and now I made another portrait study of an actress who had a small part in GoT (Rila Fukushima), but with my new Cintiq. (Jon was painted using an Intous 4) I wanted to see how fast I can push this study onto the same level that I made my Jon Snow study. And I noticed that I can work not only more accurate on a Cintiq, but also faster (Jon took me 2 hours, she took me 1 hour.). I also feel like I can see colors better on the Cintiq screen. The only thing that I have trouble with is to what degree I should "raise" the Cintiq up. My destroyed wrist has problems with a lot of positions and so I ended up having a lot of pain even at the 20 degree setting. So I started playing around with self build setups that allow me to go to 10 degrees since this seems to work better for my wrist. I also wrapped some stuff around the stylus to not grab it too tightly. I really want to figure this out! Would be too bad if I had to return the Cintiq because my hand can't cope it. :( QUESTION: Cintiq users, at what setup are you using your Cintiq and can you recommend something? Any help would be GREATLY appreaciated! Thanks! :3
