Ferguson was struck by lightning April 8 while crossing a campus parking lot. Lickenbrock was driving nearby and provided the CPR that saved Ferguson's life.
It was training he taught himself at an airport CPR kiosk just two days before saving Ferguson's life.
"Without that kiosk in the Dallas-Fort Worth airport, I probably wouldn't be here today," Ferguson said. "...it's just amazing that everything that had to happen on the front end in order for things to work out on the back end for myself, that's why I call Matt my guardian angel."
