Identify any affected product in your inventory. If you have affected product, verify that you have received the Urgent Field Safety Notice letter from
GE. GE states that you may continue to use affected product. When no patient information is entered, always check the acquisition date and time to
confirm that the ECG belongs to the relevant patient. The acquisition date and time of a freshly acquired ECG report should match the current date and
time displayed on the device. If the date and time do not match, the ECG report may have been acquired from the device's memory. To prevent
this problem from occurring, adhere to any of the following manufacturer recommendations:
● Push the ECG button to record an ECG.
● Push "Next Patient," "Same Patient," or "Main Menu" after the ECG test is complete.
● Turn the device off between uses.
● Enter patient information for each patient.
Notify all relevant personnel at your facility of the information in the Urgent Field Safety Notice letter, and review the training material included with the
letter with relevant personnel at your facility.
