Second language learning has emphasized the significance of vocabulary acquisition. In particular, vocabulary has received increased attention as witnessed by the substantial amount. Learning a second language involves the manipulation of four main skills: reading, writing, listening and speaking. One crucial factor in all four skills that underlies the success of second language acquisition is the amount of vocabulary one possesses
(Ho Yee Man, 2008). One of the most important challenges that learners will face during the process of second language learning is learning vocabulary. Thai students appear to have problems communicating in English as a second language, especially learners of low proficiency, which the lack of basic grammar and vocabulary.
