Lesson VOC 67
Task: Replace paper towels. Prerequisites: ADT 3—ADT 5, SEN 12, SEN 13 Concept: This activity is almost identical to that of replacing toilet paper (VOC 66). In fact, the fine-motor skills involved are actually easier. The student will need to learn how to determine when the towels need changing, where the towels are stored, how to change them, and where to discard the leftover cardboard tube or wrapper. Work-setting paper towel holders often require keys or are in other ways more complex than in a home situation.
Behavioral Objective: When requested to check the paper towels and replace them where needed, the student will review the status of at least three paper towel dispensers and change or add towels as taught to a 90% accuracy level for 20 trials. Materials: Paper towels (loose or in rolls, depending on the environment), sample holders, and a storage location where the towels are kept.
