A foreign family traveling with an infant were dumped on the side of a Bangkok highway, if the internet is to be trusted.
The unidentified family was reportedly rescued by highway police who managed to get them into another cab after they were kicked out by a taxi they’d hired at Suvarnabhumi Airport, according to Surachai Hiranpraditthakul, who claimed to know a police officer involved and posted this photo on Monday as evidence.
"Aren't Thai taxis a bunch of assholes?” Surachai wrote. “A driver kicked out this family on the highway. Don't just read. Please scold him in the comments!”
The family told police they’d asked to be dropped off on Rama IX Road, but when the taxi driver missed the highway exit, he didn’t want to be responsible for the fare and just dumped them there.
