Muscle antioxidative enzyme activities and MDA content
Dietary RES supplementation had no effect (P N 0.10) on muscle TSOD
and CAT enzyme activity but resulted in greater (P b 0.05) T-AOC
activity (Table 6) and GPx mRNA level (Fig. 2), and decreased MDA
content (Table 6). Moreover, dietary RES supplementation tended to
increase (P b 0.10) and significantly improve (P b 0.05) GPx enzyme
activity at 300 and 600 mg/kg, respectively (Table 6). There were no
