Hundreds of thousands of people across the country on Sunday took part in the "Bike for Mom" cycling event to mark Her Majesty the Queen's 83rd birthday.

A ceremony was held in front of the statue of King Rama V to launch the event.

Following the ceremony, the Crown Prince led cyclists in Group A as they took off from the starting point.
