CONCLUSION
We found partial support for our
hypothesis. There was a small change from
session one to session two for the anxiety
subscale. However, the time constraints were
factor in this research; participants need more
time to practice, and this should include
additional formal sessions. We also found that
we needed to have the student mentors practice
leading the meditation. If the student mentors
were able to practice more, then they could have
felt more confident teaching it to others.
