แThe main official picture actually does this hotel justice: It really does look like that. For the price point, I don't see how you could do much better if you want the secluded Thai experience. The rooms, grounds, pools and beach are kept in tip top shape. The breakfast (which was included with our stay) was surprisingly varied and seemed to cater for both foreign and Thai tastes. The private beach was quiet, with plenty of sunbeds and clean water. The pools were also empty and clean.
There was some construction work and repairs ongoing whilst we were staying, but the hotel itself was immaculate, which justifies the upkeep and construction.
The hotel restaurant caters to all tastes, but none of the food is "great". However, the hotel can easily arrange transportation to the next "town" over, which have much more choices. I personally recommend renting a car at the airport and driving. Directions are easy and the traffic is easy gong, for Thailand.
We had a great and relaxing stay. Truly provides the secluded boutique hotel, with the private beach, feeling. With a few minor compromises (as in making you well aware that they're ridiculous fees for broken glasses, bottle openers etc. before you even enter your room).
