Corruption is a serious problem in Thailand and other countries around
the world. One of the issues is that complaints to the government or other
organizations is difficult and complicated, which often leads to inaccurate
statistics on the type, location and severity of corruption. This project is
concerned with how technology can provide support for reporting and
analyzing corruption in Thailand. By using mobile technology, almost
everybody can report complaints or corruption issues. The information
collected is anonymised to protect the reporters and can be published
independently on a website available to the public. The aim of this project
is to design, implement and test a prototype system to assess its feasibility
and potential for making a positive improvement to governance in
Thailand.
