The Diesel-U-Music program relies on a board of music industry insiders -- including artists, managers, booking agents, journalists, record label personnel and independent marketing experts -- who select artist nominees and advise Diesel on marketing strategies. The artists nominated will be promoted in a variety of ways using traditional and non-traditional retail, music and lifestyle marketing techniques, including Diesel-U-Music displays in record retail outlets, college campus listening parties, integrated press outreach, extensive internet marketing initiatives, the creation of Diesel-U-Music posters, flyers, stickers and other promotional items.
