Minimum GHG intensity (GHG emission/GJ bioenergy produced)
achieved with maximum variation is shown in Fig. 3. The
lowest GHG intensity was achieved in the 2nd scenario followed
by the 4th and 1st scenario. GHG intensity varied during the operation
(from 1st cycle to 8th cycle). The largest variation in GHG
intensity was observed in the 2nd scenario (32) followed by the
4th scenario (17). Minimum GHG intensity along with variation
(variation is shown in []) for case A scenarios are as follows: (0):
53 [2], (1): 38 [72], (2) 26 [45], (3) 49 [9], (4) 20 [26].
Incorporating nutrient values of applied organic residues increased
the GHG emission/GJ bioenergy produced. Increased GHG emission
was attributed to the N2O emission from the applied organic
residues.
