2.9 A Different Voice (Gilligan) : Gilligan separated how to think and believe differently according to gender. She concluded the men always believed in dependent justice but the women cared about human connection and ethical responsibility as in Communication Ethics on page 468 told “…Gilligan’ s theory resonates with their personal experience. She even holds out the possibility that the voice of justice and the voice of care could eventually blend into a single human sound…” For example, my boyfriend, a surgeon, has to operate his patients equally and fairly everyday according to his justice in duties. However, when one of his patients was my close relative, I asked him to do it carefully and intentionally; although every time, he does his duties best. It showed females were always sensitive but males were always constant emotional.
