As discussed last week please advise the new opening and closing times for the stores so that we can meet the new requirements of actually signing out parts in real time. This means that more planning will eventually be required for departments so that weekly parts are withdrawn not a few minutes before they are required as currently is happening. As suggested I think we need to allow times for issuing chits and requests to the stores and time for them to prepare these parts. If chits are incorrect for any reason they will be returned to each department until they can provide the correct details and part numbers.
Please advise 2 people from each department that will request and fill in these chit forms as only parts required for each department will be issued direct to this personnel not various departments.
Please also advise procedure for QC checking and signing in delivered goods to Xetera.
