This studyaimstodevelopaBuildingmaterialsEmbodiedGHGAssessmentCriteriaandSystem(BEGAS)
in thenewlyrevisedKoreaGreenBuildingCertification System(G-SEED).Forthispurpose,green
building certification systemsandsupportingassessmentsystemswereanalyzedinordertograspthe
current trendoftheGHGemissionassessmentonbuildingmaterials.Theevaluandswereselectedby
identifying themajorbuildingmaterialsintheGHGemissionassessmentthatmeetthecut-offlevelof
ISO 14040forGHGemissionassessment.Inaddition,standardquantityofGHGemissionswere
calculated fortheG-SEEDandBEGAS.Anautoquantityinputtechniquewaspresentedusingpure
resourcecode,composedofstandardworkcodesofthePublicProcurementService(PPS),asamedium,
in ordertosupporttheeasyassessmentofGHGemission.KoreaLCIDB,theKoreanDBofenvironmental
