that approximately 1.5 million tons of cassava pulp was produced from 20 million tons of cassava roots in Thailand in 2005. The reported nutritive values of cassava pulp were 56% starch,5.3% CP and 35.9% crude fiber (Tesfa, 2006).
The research on cassava pulp as lactating dairy cattle feeds is very limited. The aims of this study were to evaluate the energy values of feedstuffs commonly used in the concentrates and to determine the effect of replacing ground
corn by cassava pulp in the concentrates on the performance of lactating dairy cows.
