The vision of an underwater man may seem unlikely to us today, but with the current heating up of the earth and the melting of the ice in the Arctic and Antarctic,it is a very real possibility that large areas of the earth will become submerged, and man will have to move underwater if he wants to survive if man settles on the seafloor, evolution will produce a new race of"Homo aquaticus". Such a man will have the inborn ability to extract oxygen from seawater. According to one scientist, man will be transformed to function better in a liquid environmental. His vision will probably become poorer, because of the lack of light on the ocean bed, but his hearing would most likely be improved. Most surprising is the image of how the human form will change shape so that it can move swiftly and gracefully through the water: legs will be shorter but the feet will likely be broader like those of a frog and the body will be practically hairless, but covered with more fat for greater warmth. In other words, more like a seal and a dolphin. People will no longer communicate by voice, but by radar waves transmitted and received from hats fitted with special discs. How funny man will look in the futurel
