The METALEX event has the tagline of “Pride of ASEAN” and nothing could be truer, as it is the prime networking event for the metalworking community in the ASEAN countries. For the past 27-years, Japan and Japanese technology has been well represented at the fair, especially given the strong trade relations between Japan and Thailand. The event provides a strong platform for Japanese providers to discover NEW BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES. Neighbouring country Indonesia will have a visible presence at METALEX 2013 as announced in a press conference in Jakarta last month.
Dynamic marketing campaign
METALEX has an aggressive and extensive marketing promotion campaign that is targeted at manufacturers, importers, traders and retailers. The entire ASEAN region is the focus of this dedicated blitz. For instance, road shows were held in Tokyo earlier this year. The trade fair sets industrial trends in terms of investments and policies and has become an icon for industry professionals in the related sectors. The METALEX 2013 is slated to see almost 68,000 industrialists come together with innovative technologies, activities and networking prospects to share.
Premier event in the ASEAN region
Construction, as the largest steel consumption industry in the ASEAN region – with Thailand being the largest – will be well represented at this forum. Other sectors that will be represented will be the automotive and steel production industries, home electronics and white goods including heavy consumer durables. The event has a series of power-packed seminars with quality panellists organised for your benefit, such as metallurgy and nanotechnology forums and the Japanese management style. The trade fair last year was a run-a-way success and this year’s event only promises to be bigger and better. METALEX 2013 is on from 20-23 November at BITEC, which is Bangkok’s leading exhibition venue.
