On the gable-end decorations are mostly seen in he form of Thai foliats motif patterns. However, in some royal monasteries, sometimes scenes from the Ramakian (a Thai version of the Indian Ramanaya), or the statues of some Hindu gods such as Vishnu mounting the garuda, or the royal emblems of any particular kings, may be displayed instead.
