All fragments obtained from ISSR analysis were scored for presence (1) or absence (0) of homologous bands. Final binary
matrix was created assembling all resulting bands for each sample. Values obtained from scoring the ISSR data were used for
the construction of a dissimilarity matrix applying Dice’s coefficient (Dice, 1945) using following formula: dij ¼ (b þ c)/
2a þ (b þ c), where a represents number of variables where xi is present and xj is present; b stands for variables where xi is
present and xj in absent; and finally c is the number of variables where xi is absent and xj is present. The dij means the
dissimilarity between units i and j. Final dendrogram was constructed using Unweighted Pair Group Method with Arithmetic
Mean (UPGMA). Data analysis was performed using DARwin5 software (Perrier and Jacquemoud-Collet, 2006). Shannon’s
index (I, LogBase ¼ e) was estimated for all samples and Nei’s genetic distance (Nei, 1972) matrix was calculated using FAMD
1.25 software, version 1.25 (
