In today's global markets consumers are increasingly demanding information about the products they are buying. They expect information on where products are sourced, openness and transparency in the way they are produced and assurance on the humane treatment of animals.

OriginAssured"The Origin Assured program is a demonstration of the fur industry's commitment to these same principles.

Possibly the single most important initiative ever to emerge from the fur industry, the program gives assurance that the fur in a garment or fur product that bears an OAโ„ข mark, originates from a country where national or local regulations or standards governing fur production exist.

Only fur from approved species, sourced from approved countries, and sold through participating auction houses, is entitled to carry the OAโ„ข mark.
