Clermonand Lewis worked together to develop the company’s initial business plan. After they had received the funding he spent most of 1993 and 1994 acquainting himself with potential dealers in eastern Canada and had angered Hooper on more than one occasion by asking for a model truck camper he could take on the road. He had, he declared, over a hundred dealers ready to go, but they needed to see what company could do in terms of product appeal to the market. Hooper continued to put off the request. His attitude was that he would not move until he had a perfect unit. But in any event Hooper declared they would do the deal with Ford and there was no need for a dealership network.
