Introduction: There are many health benefits for older adults from maintaining engagement in physical activity. The Flying Fruit(acro)bats is an innovative circus skills programme which helps older adults to develop circus skills. These skills may help maintain and improve physical and mental health. Aim: The aim of this qualitative study was to explore the benefits and limitations of the programme. Methods: Storyboarding techniques were used to collect data from 15 participants aged between 65 and 87 years.
