Almost all studies argue that farmers’ on contract farming schemes experienced some increase in their income. About 33.3 percent of the studies claim that the impact of contract farming on farm households’ income is a significant increase. Overall about 83.3 percent of the studies assess that the impact of contract farming is a moderate increase or conclude that the impact is a slight increase in come. Only 6.7 percent of the studies found the influence of contract farming on farmers’ income as either increasing or decreasing based on specific situations (Table 2).
