Flat Stanley is a very ordinary boy until one day he gets squashed flat by a noticeboard that falls on him while he is asleep. It turns out that it is quite fun being flat because Stanley can slip under doors, and he slides between the floorboards when Mrs Lambchop's ring falls through the gap. Mr Lambchop reads in the newspaper that there are two art thieves stealing paintings and Stanley thinks up a clever plan. He gets pinned to an empty picture frame on the wall at the gallery. When the thieves arrive Stanley shouts until the police come and arrest them.
I think that this is a very good book which is very exciting and interesting! The best bit is when people fly Stanley like a kite. There are more Flat Stanley books and I am going to read another one.
