Proximate analysis of whole tilapia fry is shown in Table 4. Moisture
content of whole fish did not vary among treatments. The highest protein
content was found in fish fed the 10% GW diet but did not differ among the
other treatments. The highest percentage of lipid was found in fish fed the
100% fishmeal diet, decreasing with increasing GW content. Ash was highest
in fish fed 50% GW and lowest in the 100% fishmeal control.
