The Laws of Standing-in-Line Are Not Respected
When standing in a line, people will get right up next to you--so close you’re actually touching (See #23: No-Fly Zone). As soon as you can turn around and say “Hey, where’s the fire?”, you’ll realize that some enterprising soul just cut in front of you. Cutting in line is commonplace. Americans—who generally like their lines neat and orderly (and with an arms-length space between individuals)—may surge with rage at this lack of civic sensibility.
