3.1.3.2. Experiments IV and V. In order to substantiate the effects of
Trichoderma isolates CH 101 and CH 304.1 on the control of avocado
white root rot, as described above, the experiment was repeated
twice using monoconidial isolates on GS avocado plants
again with antagonists applied singly or in combination with other
isolates (Table 1).
The experiments were terminated at 51 and 96 days on death of
plants in the inoculated controls. Analysis of variance of AUDPC
was significant (P < 0.05) in both experiments and the LSD test
(P < 0.05) differentiated two groups that differed significantly in
each experiment, and it was clear that isolate CH 304.1 effectively
controlled the disease whether applied singly or in combination
with CH 101 (Table 5).
