Dung beetles were captured using fresh pig dung in baited pitfall traps about twenty traps, each baited used fresh pig dung about 200 g. (Boonrotpong et al., 2004), were randomly placed in forests to attract dung beetles (Onthophagus). Each trap were placed at a distance of about 50 meters. The collected specimens were sorted in the laboratory and preserved in 99% ethanol (EtOH). They were identified to species level using Paulian (1945), Balthazar (1963) and Zunino (1975, 1979a, 1979b, 1981).
