Change-management meetings for reviewing, discussing, and scheduling proposed
changes, if approved, are a valuable tool for increasing the stability of
the systems. This formal process asks the SAs what they plan to do and when,
how long it will take, what can go wrong, how they will test it, how to back
out the change, and how long that will take. It forces the SAs to think about
the implications of what they are doing, as well as to prepare for problems
that might arise
