Speech by Mr.Sakolkiat Khanthong, Teacher of Princess Chulabhorn’s College Buriram, Thailand
Good morning, distinguished committees, ladies and gentlemen,
My name is Sakolkiat Khanthong, I am a teacher of PCC.BR. I graduated from Rajabhat Buriram University, major in Mass Communication. I have been working here for 9 years.
On behalf of teachers, students and parents of Princess Chulabhorn’s College Burirum, Thailand, I am pleased to be here speaking to you today.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Embassy of Japan in Thailand and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology or (MEXT) of Japan for introducing to me to know one of the interesting program of Japan, JENESYS 2.0 on Mass Media.
As you are well aware that our school is one of the twelve schools under the shared name as Princess Chulabhorn’s College which were established in 1993 to commemorate the 36th birthday of Her Royal Highness Princess Chulabhorn, the youngest daughter of their Majesties King Bhumibol Adulyadej and Queen Sirikit of Thailand
Our main aim is to identify and nurture gifted students in mathematics and science, for them to become future science leaders with critical and creative thinking, having good ethical and global outlook to enhance Thailand’s competitiveness. Therefore, this program can enhance the school goal. It can inspire my students and do my duty best. This program also motivates us to be more aware of the influence of mass media in the real life.
Finally, I am totally confident that the JENESYS 2.0 on Mass Media will forever continue to be successful. I will take this chance to learn and share all knowledge that I get with students and teachers. All experiences during this program is going be applied and integrated to my work, and develop school, local communities, our nations, and our world.
Thank you very much once again to everybody who makes this memorable event possible. Thank you
