3.1. Microstructure of earth bricks
The fibre distribution of the brick surfaces are shown in Fig. 7a and b. The figures represent the typical SEM images taken at the (1) top surface of the block. The figures showed that the fibres are uni- formly distributed inside the brick samples. It can be noticed that the straw particle directions are arranged in different directions
within the sample.
