In this study, five groups of turkey meat samples were obtained:
1) FP treated and packaged in regular PLA pouches (FP);
2) non-FP treated and packaged in antimicrobial coated PLA pouches (PLA
pouch);
3) FP treated and packaged in antimicrobial coated PLA pouches (FP þ PLA pouch);
4) coating treated and packaged in regular PLA pouches (coating); and 5) FP and direct coating treated and packaged in regular PLA pouches (FP þ coating).
