Compound 1 was obtained as a white amorphous powder with a molecular formula of C31H48O3 based on the [M+H]+ peak at m/z
469.3690 in the HRESIMS, corresponding to nine degrees of unsaturation.
The IR spectrum showed absorption bands for carbonyl
(1712 cm1) and hydroxy (3480 cm1) groups. The 1H NMR spectrum
of 1 (Table 1) displayed distinct signals for eight methyls
(one doublet at dH 1.00 (d, 8.0 Hz) and two allylic singlets at dH
1.95 (s) and 1.89 (s))
