In view of this, the
current research proposes that using the climate for innovation model
[30] cited in the preceding section can provide a viable framework
for assessing a firm's readiness for innovation diffusion. The main
reason is that such a model includes the measure for three salient
socio-psychological constructs (i.e. leadership, team climate and
organisational culture), which were developed from well-established
theories on DOI, organisational culture, leadership and work group
behaviour.
