I received a call from Michael Giles, Branch manager of ARB Port Macquarie. Michael was asking if ARB was experiencing problems with splash pans as he has recently experienced fitment issues on a number of vehicles and part numbers that required him to cut and modify the under wing splash pans to successfully fit them. Michael raised the question as this type of issue is out of the ordinary.
Michael made comparisons of the splash pans being fitted to display product of the same part number in his showroom and found there to be differences.
Currently Michaels store is busy and he is experiencing staff shortages. I offered to raise the customer concern document on his behalf. Below is the information provided by Michael identifying the issues and products affected.

Hi mate,
As per our conversation here is a few issues we’ve been having in the past week.
3440520 Summit BT-50 bar, stone guards do not line up with the wing of the bar. The bar we’re trying to fit is about 7mm different to the same bar I have on display in the showroom.
The captive nuts we can get about 3 done up but then the rest don’t match. Splash guards are also hitting the internal brace of the wing.
7421010 Prado alloy bar had the same issues, stone guards don’t line up with the wings of the bar. Get a few of the captive nuts done up and the rest don’t fit. Stone guards require cutting and modifying to make work. Splash guards are also hitting the internal brace of the wing.
3421800 Prado deluxe bar Stone guard bottom bolt also didn’t line up, plate had to be modified and a new hole needed to be created.
